A little about Ukiyo.
There's something lovely about making something from nothing.
I've always enjoyed making things. Working with materials, experimenting, refining, and seeing something beautiful take shape.
Candle-making became one of those things I could lose myself in. The kind of activity where you look up and realise more time has passed than you thought.
Before long, there were candles everywhere. Friends and family began enjoying them too, and Ukiyo gradually took shape.
Today, I make candles in small batches, choosing fragrances for the atmosphere they create and taking time to get the details right.
A little of the pleasure I find in making them, passed on to the people who light them.
